ART BREAKS in CARDIFF

I am now offering Art Holidays in my hometown of Cardiff, capital city of Wales.
Cardiff is Europe's youngest capital, a vibrant and attractive small city. We are lucky to have the most beautiful parks and public gardens, Cardiff being one of Britain's greenest cities. There are many splendid attractions to interest the visitor, an excellent shopping centre, a thriving theatre and arts scene and colourful nightlife.

Anyone is welcome anytime, excluding the dates that I am away on Painting Holidays. I will tailor make your Art Break in Cardiff for you, to include tutored sketching & painting in the fabulous locations we have here. I can arrange accommodation to suit your taste and budget, help with travel arrangements, and can make sightseeing, cinema, theatre, and restaurant bookings too, creating the perfect itinerary for you. I can provide art materials or you can use your own.

If you have a preference for certain locations or subjects, for example Castles or beaches - we are spoilt for both here, or working in certain media, I can create a trip specially to suit you. If your time here in Cardiff co-incides with one of my Sketching Days at St Fagans you are welcome to join in those events. I give tuition in all media and can work with all levels of experience. You do not need any prior painting or drawing experience at all. You can be an individual, a couple, a family or a group. It is no problem if you want to work in different media to others in your group, nor is it a problem if some people are experienced and some are beginners.

For my tuition and guide services I charge a daily rate of £40 per person, materials, entrance fees & parking where applicable, local transport, and meals are extra. Your Art Break can be any length you choose. I can arrange accommodation to suit you but do not collect payment, which would be payable at your chosen accommodation. We are lucky here to have a wide range of hotels, from local B&B's to the 5 star St Davids Hotel, mid price hotels, cosy country inns, modern Bay and City view apartments, backpackers hostels, caravan parks, camping facilities - there is something to suit everyone. I can send links to various accommodations to help you choose what's right for you.

IMPORTANT! My away dates are Croatia 23rd June to 1st July, Cornwall 16th - 13rd August and Barbados 1st - 17th January. If there are any more dates I am unavailable in Cardiff I will post them here.

Sketching Days at St Fagans are 10th May, 7th June, 12th July, 9th August and 13th September which can be included into your Art Break if you wish.

I do hope you decide to visit our lovely city by the sea! We have so much to offer here for anyone interested in Art. There are many galleries, splendid parks, the exciting Cardiff Bay, wonderful open air museums, a dramatic coastline, pretty countryside and a positively embarrassing number of Castles! Plus excellent shopping, theatres, opera, cinemas, world class sports facilities restaurants to suit every tastebud.
