ART CLUBS FOR SENIOR LIVING

I am now able to offer an Art Club service for senior residential homes in Cardiff. An Art Club offers the residents the opportunity to draw, paint, learn about art and art history and partake in various crafts including scrapbooking and card making. Activities can be adapted to suit clients' abilities and preferences.
Sessions take place at the residential home in a suitable room or area, at a convenient time. The duration of a session and prices can be discussed. I can provide a recent CRB disclosure document for working with vulnerable age groups.

If you are involved with a senior residential home or have a relative living in and you think this service would be of interest and benefit to the home, please contact me to discuss the idea. I will be happy to come and meet with you if you wish. Art Cubs for Senior Living

BALMORAL CRUISE. In November I gave art lessons onboard Fred. Olsen ship Balmoral, sailing in the Caribbean. I joined her at St Lucia, and from there we visited Antigua, Dutch St Maarten, BVI Tortola and The Azores. I taught my art classes on our 'at sea' days.

ARTIST'S RESIDENCY AT AMELIA TRUST FARM - MURAL PROJECT

In 2007, as well as my usual classes, I also completed an Artists Residency working with youngsters at The Amelia Methodist Trust Farm. We created a new mural for the Cafe. The farm is run by the Methodist Trust and the Reverend John Stacey Marks to help disadvantaged and dissaffected children from the local area. This was a very exciting and challenging project for me and I was thrilled to be given the opportunity by Suzanne Greenslade from The Washington Gallery in Penarth. The project is sponsored by Penarth Arts & Crafts Ltd, Oriel Washington, Help A South Wales Child and Children In Need. You can see the Mural in the Visitor Centre Cafe at Amelia Trust Farm.
